The Virginia Business Excellence Consortium (VBEC) is a group of Virginia companies and organizations that share best practices and leverage resources to improve competitiveness.

VBEC’s Mission: To provide a vehicle to help companies identify and obtain support in implementing advanced business practices to improve processes, operations and worker skill levels in Virginia.

VBEC achieves its mission through:

• Site visits at member companies to see first-hand how they are implementing a particular improvement initiative;
• Training workshops, benchmarking and round-table discussions on topics related to continuous improvement;
• Speaker events; and
• Sharing ideas, resources, and information on training and educational opportunities and to assist with member problem-solving.
