THE PROGRAM
It takes Lean leadership to develop a Lean culture. That is why Capital One developed its Process Excellence Executive Leadership (PEEL) program – and it has made a world of difference.
The PEEL 18-24 month program challenges and teaches executives to lead based on Lean principles. To show participants PEEL’s relevance, the program uses hands-on problem solving that focuses on current business needs within each leader’s organization. And leaders who have taken the PEEL program have changed the way they lead.
PEEL works. In the words of one executive, “This PEEL program is reinforcing a leadership lesson for me: Value is not just created by what I do as a leader, but how I do it…and fostering that learning for others.”
Capital One has been on the Lean Six Sigma Journey for nearly a decade. During that time, hundreds of associates have achieved process certification and delivered strong results as leaders throughout the business. This presentation can help you with your Lean leadership.
In this presentation:
- Find out why Lean requires a different kind of leadership.
- Learn the PEEL keys to success.
- Hear the lessons learned in developing executives with Lean leadership skills.
- Find out how leaders can unlock the power of an organization.
- Learn how Lean leadership can help your business.
