Dr. Eileen M. Van Aken of Virginia Tech will present her research findings on how to create impactful results when conducting a Rapid Improvement, or Kaizen event.
Whether you organization is just getting started with Kaizen events or is well experienced with them, this workshop will provide useful guidelines, strategies, tools and specific examples to improve your results.
During this seminar, attendees will:
- Review examples of Kaizen events used in many types of processes and organizations
- Learn about research findings on factors that most strongly influence Kaizen event initial success and sustainability
- Identify practical guidelines for those involved with planning and facilitating events
- Become familiar with a framework and best practices for managing Kaizen event programs, where events are used systematically throughout the organization
