Virginia Business Excellence Consortium
The Virginia Business Excellence Consortium was formed in January, 2008 by a group of companies in the Richmond and Tidewater areas. There were 15 founding members of the consortium, which was formed to provide a vehicle to help companies identify and obtain support in implementing advanced business practices to improve processes, operations and worker skill levels in Virginia. We have grown to 32 member companies as of December 2009. (For current member companies, see the Member List.)
VBEC - Southeast's Vision, Mission and Value
Vision: To be recognized throughout Southeast Virginia as an organization whose members can improve business performance by sharing best practices to continually increase value for customers.
Mission: Provide a Community of Practice forum for educating and exchanging information/best practices regarding methods to develop, implement, and continuously improve practices and processes of organizations in Southeast Virginia in order to become more competitive.

Recycling Program
Hill PHOENIX is trying to establish a strong recycling program that all associates can easily support and participate in. I am interested in learning more about how recycling programs at other VBEC companies are structured and what recycling vendors are being used. We currently recycle metals, paper and cardboard. We are interested in expanding to plastic and wood.

The mission of the Virginia Business Excellence Consortium is to provide a vehicle to help companies identify and obtain support in implementing advanced business practices to improve processes, operations and worker skill levels in Virginia.
