The following committees have been established by the VBEC - Southeast Advisory Board to support the work of the consortium.

Tours/Events/Activities Committee

Support the Director in contacting member companies regarding conducting member visits to their site. Work with companies to formulate learning objectives and desired outcomes of their site visit for VBEC members. Help to identify other topics and/or activities of interest to consortium members and options for speakers and programs. Assist in planning and developing a tour and event calendar for the year.

Training Committee

Work with the Director to assess and prioritize training needs of member companies, and to identify options for meeting those needs. Assist in evaluating proposals for service and in developing recommendations for Board of Advisors approval.

Marketing/New Members Committee

Work with the Director and the Board of Advisors to develop and implement a marketing and publicity plan for the consortium to increase the membership base.
